Local SEO for Multiple Locations: What Each Branch Page Needs
Build useful pages for real branches with accurate services, hours, access and contact information, then connect them to the appropriate local experience.
A person searching for a nearby branch needs practical answers: does it provide the right service, when is it open and how can they reach it? A branch page on your website and a Google Business Profile support different parts of that experience. Improving them begins with accurate information and useful navigation, not a large collection of pages with city names swapped into the same text.
Separate a branch page from Business Profile eligibility
A website page lets you explain the location and its customer experience. A Business Profile is a separate Google product with eligibility and representation rules. Publishing a page for a city does not automatically make a business eligible for a branch profile there. Check the rules relevant to the real operation, including whether customers visit the location or the business travels to them.
Google describes local results in terms of relevance, distance and prominence, and says a better local ranking cannot be requested or purchased from it. Avoid promises of a fixed position. Focus on information the business can verify and on removing obstacles to understanding, visiting or contacting the location.
Answer the questions specific to the branch
Show the approved address, contact route and opening hours. Add information that helps a customer reach and use the location, such as the appropriate entrance, access arrangements or services available at that branch. Ask the local owner to confirm details rather than inferring them from a general company description.
Use suitable real photographs when available and permitted, and distinguish them from editorial illustrations. Decide who updates exceptional hours or operational changes. A concise page with current details is more useful than an extensive introduction that leaves the visitor uncertain about the service or appointment route.
Make differences factual and useful
These are prompts for a branch review, not claims about Haven Cave locations. Replacing a city name in a standard paragraph does not create a helpful local page. If there is no genuine location or practical information to add, reconsider the need for the page rather than inventing an address or customer experience.
| Element | Useful location-specific detail |
|---|---|
| Services | What this branch actually provides |
| Access | Entrance or arrival information visitors need |
| Hours | Approved hours and exceptional changes |
| Contact | A route handled by the appropriate team |
| Images | The actual location when suitable assets exist |
| Next action | A booking or enquiry route the branch supports |
Connect the pages to a navigable customer journey
Provide a clear location directory, relevant service links and a route back to the main website. Customers should be able to find a branch without relying only on internal search. Use link labels that describe the destination so people can make a useful choice.
Where profile management is within the agreed scope and permissions, review the relevant website link and location details there too. Test contact, booking and map routes on a phone. When a branch moves or closes, update the website and profile according to the actual situation instead of leaving contradictory information available.
Measure useful actions without overstating them
You might review visits to the branch page, contact clicks and completed bookings. These are different signals. A tap on a telephone link does not by itself prove that a call or purchase happened. Record each metric's definition and source.
Use feedback from the local team about repeated questions to improve the page. The aim is to make discovery and contact more reliable for the right customer, while recognizing that local ranking depends on more than page copy.
- Confirm each location's details with its owner.
- Publish genuine service and access information.
- Keep ordinary and exceptional hours current.
- Test mobile navigation and contact routes.
- Review visibility and customer actions separately.
